GIS Training

We are partners with the best GIS trainers in the region and can offer 2 to 3-day certified ESRI classes in GIS as well as custom training geared specifically to the clients needs.  The training includes real-life and hands-on exercises to both stimulate students’ curiosity and provide the skills necessary to perform analysis for better decision making using various data types. Students receive a tutorial containing all the material covered during the class. Classes can be generic or focused for the needs of the client and situation.

For a generic class, the instructors cover all the necessary fundamentals to understand GIS, from projections to data management, including a clear understanding for the need of metadata. Advanced concepts, such as geocoding or spatial analysis, are all available as instructional topics.

A focused (custom) training will provide in-depth discussions and analysis with the client to assess knowledge requirements allowing the training to concentrate on concepts relevant to end goals.

One example is CirTerra’s delivery of training for programmers allowing a greater use of the object-oriented programming (OOP) model and GIS.  This produces better products and seamless integrations using the methods and output media available.
