“Location, Location, Location” is a well known motto in the real estate business but a recent article in BusinessWeek (April 2007) tells a story how Starbucks is trying a new strategy to triple its annual sales by 2012. The strategy is called “Geography is a flavor”. In this case the company has reorganized its menu by grouping coffees by geography instead of “smooth” or ”bold”. That’s the power of geography.

THE METHODOLOGY:

With an ever-collaborative win-win spirit, CirTerra uses a rigorous Return on Investment (ROI) process. After having analyzed your needs, we write a step-by-step plan in accordance with a mutual understanding of the business situation. This plan shows all dates for deliverables and is complemented by an ROI model jointly developed with the client to insure integrity of the process.

Our methodology is a workshop approach that includes:

  • Information gathering. We thoroughly interview our client to document all needs and business issues and goals from the client’s side.
  • Jointly developing and building the ROI model. Among other topics in this phase, we include a needs analysis questionnaire detailing the client’s “Key Pain Indicators”, leading to mutually agreed data to be used in the ROI model.
  • Deployment. The value proposition is accepted by the client and CirTerra begins the application development and deployment in accordance to the milestones.
  • Quality control and feedback. On a on-going basis, we check and validate our results and deliverables to produce the best possible maps or reports.
